Double Indemnity

Double indemnity is a 1944 Film Noir in which it follows a successful insurance salesman (Walter Neff, played by Fred MacMurray) who helps a housewife murder her husband for the double insurance pay out that will be given for Phyllis Dietrichson's loss. The story follows the two, and shows them as more than just partners in crime, but also sharing a romantic bond together. As the story goes on, we find out after the deed has been achieved that Mrs Dietrichson infact planned to take the money for herself.

The film has many traits of your typical film noir, especially the use of venetian blinds
In my own film noir, this trait will be a massive feature through out, but I will also include many other features common in films such as Double Indemnity, such as smart suits, cigarette smoking, use of natural lighting and many other things.
